For the past year, we have been busy building our SaaS product — GlamAR, to help beauty brands sell Makeup products online. Brands are well-versed in in-store selling as their customers prefer to try out products physically. But with GlamAR, we aim to equip brands to open up the same product-trial experience virtually to their online & in-store customers.

Early on we established that we are going to build a platform that can be used by brands with ease. We designed GlamAR with these features in mind:

  • Completely Self-Serve Platform. Brands should be able to start immediately and take actions without our interventions.
  • Minimal Human Interaction. Smooth onboarding process for a hassle-free and low-friction experience.
  • Starter Plan. An exciting Starter Plan with great features for a real GlamAR experience.

The First Virtual Makeup Platform Built in India

Last month, we released GlamAR, a new way to try makeup products virtually. GlamAR integrates with the brand website or mobile application. Customers can now simply visit these web stores, try out the makeup products using the device camera and decide if a product suits them or not.

GlamAR is based on Augmented Reality (AR) and designed for beauty and makeup brands to enable virtual try-on for their products.

GlamAR allows brands to showcase products virtually and for customers to experience them in real-time. With GlamAR, our goal is to eliminate challenges faced by brands and their consumers in online shopping.

  • Immersive makeup experience: Virtual try-on enables shoppers to directly apply shades of lipstick, blush or other makeup products on their face and view real-time results on their screens.

Simply, add, edit or delete your makeup products on the Admin Panel. You can change the color, style or base of any makeup easily.

At the moment, GlamAR supports virtual try-on for Lipstick, Eyeshadow, Blush&Eyeliner. We will be updating Nail and Hair colours in the next few months.

We took GlamAR to Product Hunt, a product discovery platform on 6th January’2021. GlamAR was upvoted 200 times on PH, and we ended up in the top 8 products on Product Hunt for the day. Product Hunt also tweeted about us and featured us in their newsletter.
